Doctrine of GOD

I believe in the existence of the one living, personal Triune God, as revealed in both nature and revelation, who eternally exists in three persons, eternal in being and equal in essence and attributes.

The existence of god is assumed by the writers of Scriptures

The Trinitarian Distinctions of God are evident.

God is Spirit, infinite and Perfect, the Creator and Sustainer of all things. The nature of God is reflected in His attributes.

Absolute Attributes

God is Spirit, thus not dependent on matter
[John 4:24]

God is Infinite, knowing no limit or bounds
[1 King 8:27; Psalm 145:3]

God is self-existent, meaning that the ground of existence is in Himself alone [Exodus 3:14]

God is Immutable, His nature, Attribute and will being exempt from change. [James 1:17; Hebrews 13:8]

God is Truth [John 14:6]

God is love [1 John 4:8]

God is Holy, in that He eternally maintains His purity

Relative Attributes

God is Eternal, without beginning or end and free from all limitations of time [Psalm 90:2; 102:27]

God is Omnipresent, in that the totality of His Essence is present in all places at all times.
