Doctrinal Statements
Doctrine of THE LAST THINGS
-
I believe in the Pre-millennial and Pre-tribulation return of the
Lord Jesus Christ in the air to rapture the saints, resurrecting
the bodies of the believers who have died and reunited the bodies
with their souls and translating all those who are alive at His
coming. [2 Thessalonians 2:6-8; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 5:6]
-
I believe that follow the Rapture, the saints will appear before
the Judgment Seat of Christ to receive rewards according to their
works. [1 Corinthians 3:13-15; 2 Corinthians 5:10]. This will
followed by the Marriage Supper of the Lamb [Revelation 19:7-10]
-
I believe follow the Rapture, the unsaved will go through a Seven
Year Period of Tribulation, Daniel’s Seventieth Week, a time when
the work of Satan will culminate in the appearance of the Anti
Christ when God shall pour out His wrath upon this earth. [Daniel
7:25-27; 9:24-27; Matthew 24:15-22] During the Tribulation, many
Jews and Gentiles will be saved. [Revelation 7:1-8]
-
I believe that the Tribulation will end with the return of Christ
[Matthew 24:29-31; Revelation 19:11-16] when He shall defeat the
armies of the earth at Armageddon [Revelation 19:17-19], set up
His Kingdom on Earth [Daniel 7:13,14,27; 9:24; Zechariah 14:9-11],
Satan will be bound [Revelation 20:1-3], and peace and
righteousness shall be upon the earth. [Daniel 9:24; Zechariah
14:16-20]
-
I believe that at the end of the Millennium, Satan will be loosed
for a short time, deceive the nations and fight against God for
the final time. [Revelation 20:7-9]
-
After this Battle of Gog and Magog, Satan will be cast into the
Lake of Fire, the spirit of the lost shall be brought out of Hell
and reunited with their resurrected bodies, judged at the Great
White Throne, and cast into the Lake of Fire forever. [Revelation
20:7-15]
-
I believe that a new Heaven and a new Earth will be created, and
all the blessed shall live in the presence of God for all the rest
of eternity. [Revelation 21; 22]
